How can Product-as-a-Service (PaaS) models concretely contribute to the ecological and social transition, and more importantly, how can their impact be measured?

As organizations increasingly explore service-based models to move beyond linear consumption patterns, the question of impact measurement becomes essential. While PaaS is often associated with environmental benefits such as improved resource efficiency and extended product lifecycles, its quantification remains complex, particularly when it comes to social value. In this 1-hour webinar, we will bring together experts from academia, public institutions, and industry to explore how the environmental and social impacts of PaaS can be assessed in practice.

Your program :
  • Quantifying environmental impact : insights from research, academia, and industry on how PaaS models reduce environmental impacts and how these benefits are measured.
  • Quantifying social impact : exploration of the social value created by PaaS
  • Key methodological and operational challenges faced by organizations when measuring environmental and social impacts.

This session will feature contributions from:
  • ADEME, presenting insights from a study of six companies implementing service-based models
  • Linköping University, sharing academic perspectives on impact assessment
  • BOSCH, offering concrete feedback from implementing PaaS solutions in both B2B and B2C contexts
Whether you are a practitioner, researcher, or policymaker, this webinar will help you better understand how to measure and capture the value of Product-as-a-Service models.
