Successful launch of the PACCT policy brief as a EU Green Week Partner Event 2025
On June 17th, 2025, PACCT for Sustainability hosted its first EU Green Week Partner Event in Brussels, gathering policymakers, sustainability experts, and business leaders to officially release its new policy brief: "Accelerating Circularity and Competitiveness in Europe through Product-as-a-Service."
As the EU aims to double its circularity rate from 12% to 24% by 2030, this policy brief highlights how Product-as-a-Service (PaaS) business models can play a key role by combining environmental impact reduction with long-term competitiveness. Developed by the PACCT community, the brief offers actionable recommendations to inform EU institutions and feed into the upcoming Circular Economy Act 2026.
The event featured a presentation of the policy brief and an interactive discussions with participants.
